Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin Discloses How Heavy his ETH Bags Are in Silly Exchange with Dr. Doom

Vitalik Buterin and Nouriel Roubini have been discussing on Twitter during the last days. Buterin is Ethereum’s co-founder and Roubini is an American Economist known for predicting the 2008 financial crisis that hit the world.

Roubini attacked Vitalik Buterin saying that Ethereum (ETH) is a scam. At the same time, he said that Buterin and Joe Lubin stole 75% of the Ether supply and became ‘billionaires.’

However, Buterin decided to give an answer to Roubini about this. He explained that he never held more than 0.9% of all ETH and that he never had a net worth close to $1 billion dollars. Furthermore, he said that there are no criminal laws against pre-mining.

Later, he provided another Twitter user with the information about the funds it had and the transactions it has processed.

In the ETH address that he showed, registered $74 million dollars related to 365,003 ETH. At the same time, he holds over $100,000 dollars in another virtual currency known as OmiseGo (OMG).

The trades processed with this address are not small, most of them are very big. Additionally, he mentioned that he has other addresses but do not have large amounts of funds. According to him, they are ‘quite small relatively speaking.’

Vitalik Buterin and Roubini have been discussing about cryptocurrencies and Ethereum in a series of Tweets during the last days.

On October 10, Vitalik wrote a tweet in which he ‘predicted’ a financial crisis until 2021. He then said ‘not because I have any special knowledge or even actually think that but so that I can have a 25% (or whatever chance of later being publicly acclaimed as ‘a guru who predicted the last financial crisis.’’

To this, Nouriel Roubini answered that Vitalik was promising Proof of Stake (PoS) since 2013 and the system has not been yet implemented.

After it, the discussion between both scaled and shared their insights about different topics related to virtual currencies, Ethereum and finance.
